Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Grace Of God Christian Ministries ("GOGCM," "the Ministry," "we," "us," or "our") respects your right to control the personal information associated with you through gogcministries.org and our related online services (the "Services"). This page explains how to request deletion of personal data we hold about you and what to expect from that process.

What You Can Request to Delete

You may ask us to delete personal data we hold that is associated with you, including:

  • Website account information — your profile, login identifiers, saved preferences, roles, and account activity records.
  • Contact form submissions — messages and contact details you sent through website forms.
  • Prayer request information — prayer requests you submitted, along with associated names and contact details.
  • Uploaded media or submitted content — photos, audio, video, testimonies, comments, or other content you uploaded or submitted.
  • Event registration information — registration details, attendee lists, and related communications tied to you.
  • Facebook or Meta-connected information — information collected by the Ministry through login, page interaction, or integration with Facebook or other Meta products.
  • Google or YouTube-connected information — information collected by the Ministry through login, integration, or interaction with Google or YouTube services on our platforms.
  • Other personal information — additional personal information the Ministry has stored about you through the Services.

How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

To request deletion, please contact Grace Of God Christian Ministries through the Contact section of our website. In your request, please include:

  • The full name and email address associated with your account or submission;
  • A clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your personal data;
  • Which categories of information you would like deleted (for example, "account," "prayer requests," "uploaded media," "Facebook-connected information");
  • Any additional details that help us locate the correct records, such as the approximate date of a submission, the event you registered for, or the platform through which you connected (for example, Facebook, Google, or YouTube); and
  • Your relationship to the data (for example, the account owner or a legally authorized representative).

You may also include the phrase "Data Deletion Request" in the subject or opening line of your message so it is routed appropriately.

Identity Verification

To protect your privacy and the security of the Ministry's records, we may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. This helps prevent unauthorized deletion of another person's information. Verification may involve confirming ownership of the email address on file, matching details of prior submissions, or requesting additional information reasonably necessary to establish identity. If we are unable to verify your identity, we may be unable to complete your request.

How Requests Are Handled

Grace Of God Christian Ministries will review each valid deletion request and take appropriate steps to delete or anonymize the associated personal data within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law and our internal processing capacity. We will notify you when your request has been completed or if we are unable to fulfill part of it, along with the reason.

Information We May Retain

Some information may be retained even after a deletion request when retention is required or reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal, tax, accounting, audit, or other regulatory obligations;
  • Donation and financial recordkeeping, including receipting and contribution history;
  • Fraud prevention, security, and abuse investigations;
  • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims;
  • Enforcing our Terms of Service or protecting the rights and safety of the Ministry, its members, or others; and
  • Preserving system logs, backups, and archives as part of our routine operations.

Where information is retained for these purposes, we limit its use to those purposes and continue to protect it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Platforms and Integrations

Deleting information stored by Grace Of God Christian Ministries does not automatically delete information independently collected or stored by third parties, including Facebook, Meta, Google, YouTube, livestreaming providers, payment processors, or other connected services. Those platforms maintain their own copies of information according to their own policies and retention schedules.

To manage or delete information those third parties hold about you, you may need to contact them directly or use the tools they provide, such as:

  • Your Facebook or Meta account settings and their privacy and data-deletion resources;
  • Your Google account settings and Google's data-deletion and activity controls;
  • Your YouTube history, uploads, and account controls;
  • Your account with any payment processor used for online giving; and
  • Any other third-party platform through which you interacted with the Ministry.

Effect of Account Deletion

Deleting your account may result in loss of access to features that require an account, including saved preferences, giving history views, event registrations, and any content associated with your profile. If you later wish to use those features again, you may need to create a new account.
